Who I am…

Hi there!

My name is Sunny Mae, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I’m a therapist, writer, and mother - someone who believes that meaning is not something we find, but something we create through how we live, relate, and make sense of our lives.

My approach to therapy is relational, collaborative, and grounded in real connection. I believe that growth happens in the context of feeling seen, understood, and safe enough to be yourself - without pressure to perform or be anything other than where you are.

Therapy with me is centered in conversation. We talk, we explore, we make sense of patterns, relationships, and the moments that feel stuck or unclear. I also value creativity as a part of the process. When it feels helpful, we might incorporate journaling, reflective exercises, or simple creative practices.

I don’t believe therapy is about fixing you. It’s about understanding yourself more deeply, building insight and tools that actually fit your life, and create change in a way that feels sustainable and real.

If you’re looking for a space that feels thoughtful, collaborative, and flexible, I’d be honored to work with you.
